I don't have a lot of maxi length skirts in my closet, as midi is my length of choice, however if one has a fabulous print then I am willing to give a longer length a try. So when I saw this maxi with an over the top dramatic floral print on it, I knew I had to snatch it up. This maxi length skirt, which is from Make Me Chic, looks and feels expensive with its thick scuba fabric, however it's priced under $25. Finding things at reasonable price points also makes trying something new more appealing as well!
My styling of this skirt is very similar to the outfit I wore in my The Writing is One the Wall
post. I basically followed the same formula of wearing my Zara black
and white gingham blouse with an abstract floral print skirt. Now that I think about it, the sunnies and shoes are the same too! However, as I
always say, if it's not broke, don't fix it. That mantra can be applied to
almost anything in life, including fashion formulas.
